Born in Braga, he began his musical studies at the age of 6 at the Conservatório de Música Calouste Gulbenkian in Braga, in the cello class of Professor Jorge Ribeiro. He continues his training, obtaining an acting diploma at the University of Minho in the class of Professor Pavel Gomziakov and joining the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp in the class of Professor Justus Grimm.
He participated in masterclasses guided by professors Paulo Gaio Lima, Amir Peled, Maria de Macedo and Guy Danel.
He was awarded 2nd place in the Vila Verde Music Contest (string trio).
On an orchestral level, he has performed with orchestras such as the Porto Symphony Orchestra/Casa da Música, Guimarães Orchestra, Espinho Jazz Orchestra, Antwerpen Camerata, Espinho Classical Orchestra and the Braga Sinfonietta.
