Born in the Vila Nova de Famalic\u00e3o, she began her musical studies at the age of 13 at the Escola Profissional e Art\u00edstica do Vale do Ave, in the viola class of Ant\u00f3nio Pereira and Teresa Correia. She obtained her bachelor’s degree at the University of Minho in the class of Mateusz Stasto, and her master’s degree in performance at the Staatliche Hochschule f\u00fcr Musik und Darstellende Kunst Mannheim. She is currently completing a postgraduate degree in orchestral soloist at the same institution, in the class of Hideko Kobayashi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She was awarded third place at the Pa\u00e7os Premium competition and second place at the Vila Verde music competition in the string trio category. In the 2020\/21 academic year she held a scholarship from the GDA Foundation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She has performed with orchestras in Portugal and abroad, including the Orquestra Sinf\u00f3nica do Porto\/Casa da M\u00fasica, Orquestra XXI, Orquestra de C\u00e2mara Portuguesa, Jovem Orquestra Portuguesa, Orquestra de Guimar\u00e3es, Orquestra da Costa Atl\u00e2ntica, Orquestra Cl\u00e1ssica do Centro, Sinfonietta de Braga, Deutsches Kammerorchester Berlin, Joven Orquesta Nacional de Espa\u00f1a, Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, Orchestre de Picardie, N\u00fcrnberger Symphoniker, Symphonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks and WDR Sinfonieorchester.
